Haiku is a Japanese form of verse writing which doesn’t necessarily rhyme and usually consists of three lines with the first having 3 syllables (sound unit), second broken to 7 sounds and the last with 3 syllables. This is not being followed strict by many modern poets who tend to vary in the combination of syllables.
